The GOAT. Regardless of how many majors Tiger ends up winning, and regardless of whether he falls short of beating Nicklaus’ tally, Tiger Woods ought to be remembered as the undisputed greatest golfer of all time. We don't yet know how the car crash he suffered in 2021 ultimately affect his unparalleled golf career, but how he dominated the tour and changed the game and level of competition completely will be his ultimate legacy. During his career, he tinkered and fiddled with different clubs and brands off and on, and essentially launched Nike’s entire golf club business during the heyday of his career. In more recent years, he switched to TaylorMade (when Nike’s golf club line was ultimately retired) and nowadays his setup is largely composed of TaylorMade equipment. The main exception has been his putter, which he’s relied on a few different Scotty Camerons based on feel.
